Child Parent Psychotherapy
Participants will learn about Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), an evidence based treatment for children ages 0-5 who have experienced trauma. CPP is a dyadic therapy in which the parent/caregiver and the child work together to resolve trauma related issues, improve interactions, and return the child to a normal developmental trajectory.
Jennie Cole-Mossman, LMHP is currently the Young Child Services Coordinator for Project Safe Start Nebraska, a federal grant through SAMHSA to provide evidence based mental health intervention in the form of Child Parent Psychotherapy to children ages 0-5 in the Nebraska Family Treatment Drug Court.
